Hey Queery NC family,
When we started Queery NC, we set out with a clear vision: to create low-stress, low-cost, and low-commitment spaces where the LGBTQIA+ community can connect, learn, and grow together without feeling pressured to use hook-up apps and night clubs.
This past month reminded us why this mission matters so much.
Big Milestone: Our BiggestTabling Event Yet!
Alamance Pride was huge for Queery NC! We held our largest tabling event to date, meeting over 50 community members face-to-face and welcoming more than 20 new subscribers to this mailing list Whether you stopped by to say hi, grabbed some info, or signed up right on the spot- Thank You. Getting to share space with you in person energizes us and completely reinforces why we do this work!
What’s Next: Moving Outdoors & Staying Active
We know how important physical and recreational activities are for community bonding. We’re currently working through the process of securing organizational insurance so we can host safe, in-person athletic and recreational events. Keep an eye out in the coming weeks for announcements on casual rec games,
outdoor meetups, and movement workshops!
Roll for Initiative: Tabletop RPGs are Coming!
Looking for a low-stakes way to make new friends and dive into new worlds? We’re building out our Tabletop RPG (TTRPG) groups To make sure these games are accessible, fun, and comfortable for everyone, we’ve put together a quick survey to match players based on location, schedule, preferred game systems, and topic comfort levels.
